Information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

By Medellín Airport Transfer | March 23, 2020

Here you can find updated information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Colombia. The information in this article will be permanently updated as circumstances in the country or measures related to travel to and from Colombia are changing.

Travel restrictions

Currently all of Colombia's borders (land, air, sea, and river) are closed. Starting today (March 23) and until April 21 (at 23:59) the entry of international travelers to Colombia is prohibited.

Some airlines still continue to provide their services to leave Colombia. Medellin Airport Transfer will continue to operate (especially city to airport transfers) and we will be carrying out additional cleaning of the vehicles after each service to guarantee a safe environment for our users and drivers.

Quarantaine

Colombia will be in quarantine from March 24 to April 13, which means that during those days people must remain in isolation at home and can only move in specific cases such as buying food and essential products, medical appointments, etc.
