Are you still providing services in times of COVID-19?
Yes. We are 100% compliant with governement requirements regarding safe operaions during COVID-19. Our drivers and vehicles are updated with all the necessary equipment.
Do you have availability around Christmas and New Year?
On the 24th and 31st of December we don't have vehicles available from 8pm until 7am the next day.
When I book I receive a K001 error. How can I solve this?
Make sure that you are using Google Chrome and that you are filling out the credit card details exactly the way our form is asking for it (e.g. : do not write year 2023, write 23).
My payment didn't go through when trying to book
Try using a different browser (Google Chrome or Firefox), device or credit card. If none of these options work please contact your bank to allow overseas transactions.
How will I know that my booking has been confirmed?
When your payment has been succesful you will receive a booking confirmation at your given email address. Here you will see the confirmation of all the details that you gave us for your pick-up. If you have not received the confirmation in your inbox you might find it in your spam folder.
What happens if I change my plans? Can I cancel?
If you cancel 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time you will receive 100% of your money back. Unfortunately, any cancellation within 24 hours of your scheduled pick-up will not be refunded.
What happens if my driver is late?
In the rare occurrence that your driver is late or not in the arrivals hall please make sure that you are located at the assigned exit hall for your flight (you can find this information on the airport’s screens). You can also contact us via the WhatsApp number that we provide each of our clients in the confirmation email.
What happens if my flight is cancelled?
If your flight is cancelled and you are going to arrive on a new flight, please make sure to let us know as soon as possible, to give us time to reschedule the pick-up. If your flight has been cancelled (you are not traveling anymore) and you advice us with enough anticipation, we will refund your payment.
What happens if my flight is delayed? Will I lose my money?
In case of delay please advice us through email or WhatsApp. Our drivers also work with an application that tracks your flight and, if the flight information gets updated accordingly, your driver will already know that your flight is delayed and will wait for you when you arrive.
How do I find my ride at the Airport?
Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall that is assigned for your flight, holding a sign with your name. He will then take you to your awaiting vehicle.
Does the driver speak English?
Most of our drivers don’t speak English but this shouldn’t be any problem. Before you arrive, the driver will already know your name, your flight details, where you’re staying in Medellin and how to get you there safely. If you do think you will need an English speaking driver, feel free to contact us after booking and we will do our best to schedule one for your pick-up!
How far away is the airport?
JMC Airport is not actually in Medellin. It is 50 km away in the small city of Rionegro. The journey takes around 1 hour in a car, so having comfortable seats and air conditioning is a big benefit! Once you see the view 1 hour is not enough to take it all in!
Why should I pre-book my transport in Medellin?
Standard taxis are available at the airport, but the vehicles are usually old fashioned, with very little space for luggage and you will need to comunicate with the driver to agree the pricing and explain him where you are going in Medellin. Instances of violence and unfair pricing are also heard of.
